Introduction
Telling children a Bible story about a real event in the Bible is a special moment in the Bible class. It should be a special moment when the teacher has the children's attention as she or he share God's special words. Trying to keep children captivated can sometimes be difficult. Black light stories are wonderful for doing just that!
Materials
- Neon Paper (we used Astrobrights Colored Cardstock - Happy Assortment)
- Black Tag Board (we did 16" x 14")
- Scissors or Cutting Machine (Cricut, Silhouette, etc)
- Glue Sticks
- SVG of story (for cutting machine) or PDF (for scissors)
- Song Cards
- Laminator Machine (optional)
Instructions
Cut out the pieces of the story either with a cutting machine while using the above SVG or with scissors by using the PDF to print the images on the correct color. Once all your images are cut out, use the glue sticks to glue all the images down on the correct card. You can use the below overview images as a guide on how to assemble the cards. Glue the song cards on the back of each card so you can sing along as you teach. Then, if you have access to a laminator, laminate your cards so they will stay in good condition for a while. Great job!
