God blesses us in so many ways! All that we have is from Him. He continually watches over us and gives us many blessings, more than we can count! Make this blessings heart paper chain with your child to teach them this fact. Your child can think about and then display some of their many blessings from God. This craft could especially be fun around Valentine's Day since it uses hearts, but it can also be done anytime of year. While making this craft, trying singing or listening to a hymn about God's blessings like Count Your Blessings or 10,000 Reasons.

Materials
- Construction Paper
- Scissors
- Marker
- Stapler
Instructions
Start by cutting your paper into 12"x 1" strips of paper
Fold each piece of paper in half.
Write a blessing on each piece of paper. Have fun with your little seed(s) thinking about all the many blessings in their life from God! Note, make sure you write the blessing in the middle of the folded piece of paper and not near the end or the crease. This will help in the next step.
Take one piece of paper, pinch the ends together to make a heart. Your crease should be the bottom point of the heart. Then before stapling, stick the crease of another piece of paper between the ends of the first piece. Staple these pieces together to start your chain. Continue adding blessings to your paper chain by making a heart and sticking the crease of the next blessing between the ends of the previous heart.
Display your paper heart chain proudly! Look at all the many ways God blesses us!
