About Us
We are a mother and daughter team who found our inspiration from Lois and Eunice in 2 Timothy 1:5. As we raise our little ‘Timothy’, we are motivated to come up with new, creative ideas for sharing God’s Word with him at every stage of development. In addition to this, we continually want to share ideas and resources we have utilized as Bible School teachers. We are focused on developing age appropriate content that stays true to God’s Word. Our combined backgrounds include: teaching all ages of children (infant to adult), speaking at Ladies Days, writing for Christian publications, and leading teacher training workshops. We have taught Bible classes in church of Christ congregations for over 50 years combined and we love sharing His Word with little seeds.
Our Mission
To provide age appropriate, Bible-based, engaging activities, lessons and materials that teachers and parents can easily use with a small amount of effort.
Website Layout
We want our website to be simple for parents and teachers to use so we have categorized all material so it can easily be found. All material is categorized by Bible Location, Content Type, and Age. So for example, to find a 2-year old Bible lesson on Noah, you could find this material in Old Testament - Patriarchs, Bible Lesson, and 18M-3Y. You can also use the search bar throughout the website to help you find the material you need.
Content Types
We have different types of teaching materials throughout our website. Below is a description and image of each type of material that you can find on our site.
Bible Lesson: This material would be for a standard 30-45 minute Bible lesson intended for a Bible School teacher to use to teach their little seeds in a weekly Bible class.
Creating for the Creator: These are creations with step-by-step instructions that you as the parent or teacher can make to then use in teaching your little seeds.
Explore More: These are take home activities for a teacher to send home with a student similar to 'homework'. The goal of these activities is to deepen learning of a lesson through repetition and further digging.
Learning is in the Bag: These are Take Home bags that contain everything inside to do a Bible story. As a teacher, you can assemble these for your class to rotate taking home. As a parent, you can create these bags to do at home or to take on-the-go.
Songs: These are for fun songs that we have written or found that aid in the Bible lessons.
Take 10: These lessons are designed to be quick 10 minute lessons that a parent can do with their little seed. The goal is for these lessons to be easy with little prep work for the parent so you can spend more time in God's Word daily with your child.
