Creation Review Cards
This craft is a great way to review the days of Creation with your child - young or old! Then once they make the cards, you can refer back to them to remember what our Almighty God made on each day of Creation in Genesis 1. You can really customize this activity to what supplies you have and to the age of your child. We used a lot of stickers, because Hobby Lobby had a sale (yay!) and because we know kids LOVE any chance to use stickers. Have fun with this while your review what all God made.
While you do this craft with your child, try singing/listening to the Days of Creation song or try making our Creation Trail Mix... or both!
Materials
- Creation Cards - Free Printable
- Scissors
- Markers, Crayons, Color Pencils, etc.
- Stickers such as: Clouds, Plants, Fish, Birds, Planets, Stars, Animals, People
- Hole Punch and Binder Ring (optional)
Instructions
Print off the Creation Cards Template so the correct numbers are on the back of each corresponding layout. Cut each card out. Assemble your other materials
Have your child decorate each card with what God made on that day. Talk to them about what all God made and how He said it was good. As they decorate, you can ask them questions about their favorite plant, planet, fish/bird, or animal that was made on that day. You can also read each section from Genesis 1 before you decorate a card or sing the Days of Creation song. You have options on how to engage your child!
If you want to bind your cards with a ring, you can hole punch each decorated card and bind together. Now you have a great, custom resource for reviewing God's days of creation with your little seed.
