Jesus teaches us to, "Go, and make disciples." (Matthew 28:19) We can teach our littles that this message is for all of us wherever we go - whether it is around the world or in our own backyard with our friends.
Amazon has pretend passports with stickers or other options without stickers. Date stamps are available at any store selling office supplies. Attach handles (poster board or cardboard) to an expandable file folder to create a suitcase. As you pretend to, "Go" to different parts of the world sharing the gospel of Jesus, "pack" the things you might need for the trip: a Bible, money, etc. In different Bible classes, eat foods from that country, learn about their culture, and learn to say "Jesus loves me," in different languages.
The downloadable booklet below was created for use in our pre-school program in Bible class, so it highlights various mission points our church either sponsors or with whom it has connections. There is one blank world map page, so it can be personalized to other places.
Check out our song I Want to Be a Missionary too! It pairs really well with this lesson as the children explore all the different places where missionaries work.
