Obey Bookmark

Introduction

This obey bookmark is a great craft to have with a lesson when you are teaching obedience to your kids K-5th. You can talk about how we must read our Bibles and obey what God tells us to do. They can use their new obey bookmark with a 'hidden message' to mark their place in their Bibles as they read more of God's Word.

This is similar to the Jesus wall hangings that use the negative space to write the word 'Jesus'. It is an optical illusion which the kids will enjoy. It might take a minute to see it, but it says OBEY! on the black text.

You can definitely use an X-ACTO knife and a lot of patience to cut this out, but it is ideal if you have a cutting machine like a Cricut or Silhouette to help with the cutting.

  • White Paper
  • Black Paper (or another dark color)
  • Cutting Machine (Cricut, Silhouette, etc)
  • X-ACTO Knife (if you don't have a cutting machine)

  • OBEY! Image (SVG for cutting machine, PDF for X-ACTO knife)
